Menu moving with page

Hi everyone,

I was wondering if, using a bit of CSS magic, the following was
possible:

I have a sidebar on the left of the content area, with a header
spanning both. I was wondering if it was possible to mov ethe sidebar
(with all of the menu buttons) down as the user scrolls the page down
ONLY IF the top would otherwise disappear off the top of the screen.
That way the user doesn't need to scroll to the top of the screen to
access the menu.

I'm using the two column template found at:

http://www.ssi-developer.net/main/te...d-ft-fixed.htm

I would appreciate any pointers anyone might have.

Thanks

Taras

position: fixed;

Doesn't work with IE<7. There is, however, a simple javascript workaround
that can be found on google.

Thanks Richard, haven't come across the fixed position yet. I'll look
into the javascript solution (although I was trying to steer clear of
js).
