Doubt on Anchor tag HREF attribute

Hi Guys,
Myself facing a problem in assigning the value to HREF of anchor tag. I am having list of path to a file in a drop down combo. I need to assign the value of the selected one among the list in drop down combo as a reference to the HREF of anchor tag. How to proceed with this. Can anyone suggest me a solution.

Thanks & Regards,
Michael
