Spanning directories and .css files

P: n/a
Howdy,

Hopefully I can explain what it is I am trying to do without to much trouble.

I have a directory within my "public_html" that contains my style
sheets. It's called CSS.

I am using the following to import the style sheets into my web pages:

@import url(CSS/filename.css);

I want to put the files that I creat into various sub-directories so
that I can have some sort of organization and not have files all over
the place like I have now.

How do I make the import line above reflect where the css files I want
to import are? Do I have to use the full path? Let me explain, if I
have a sub directory in my public_html directory what path would I use
to have it reflect like I do above?

I hope that makes sense.

TIA,

Pete

@import url(/CSS/filename.css);

Works from anywhere.

I'd also suggest dumping @import in favour of <link>, but that's just
a coding style thing.
