how to update the content of HTML frames after sucessfully login

hi guys....
So basically this is what i have in mind....I hv created the website which is html and php base...then i hv create a frame in such a way that when i click at the left navigation bar...the content of that particular link.. will appear in the middle..
Then i manage to do the login page...so what i want to ask u guys is that...how do i update the content of the frames after the member has successfully login??
so let's say when u r not login..u can't c certain page...so u must be a member and login to do that..

not login ....you can only c -->Home, login,register,about us,FAQ
login....you can c -->Home,Member's page,about us,FAQ,logout...

hope u guys get what i mean...pls anyone..if u hv any idea on how to do this,pls give me your guidance...thx in advance...

has nothing to do with HTML/CSS. Either use htaccess to password protect directories or use PHP (or other server side script) to setup a members area. Ask in the appropriate forum, probably PHP if that is what you already know a bit of.
