Questions about hyperlinks

P: 9
Got my website looking exactly the same in firefox and IE, thanks to help from you guys last time. So i thought i'd look to you guys for some questions about this.

http://pshift.nrgservers.net/
Under all the pictures i have lines of text congratulating someone on a piece of gear that i link from that website. I would like that hyperlink always to look Purple like it currently is, but the only way i found to do that was to make all hyperlinks purple (as you can see). Is there anyway i can just assign those links that color without changing the rest?

Also i can't seem to figure how to get the lines to not double space after the pictures.

Expand|Select|Wrap|Line Numbers
  1. Grats Hadriande on Shuriken of Negation
  2.
  3. Grats Deltahex on Demon Stalker Greaves
  4.
  5. Grats Minato on Bloodmaw Magus-Blade
  6.
Anyway of changeing that so they call just line up right under each other? Thanks

Expand|Select|Wrap|Line Numbers
  1. <style type="text/css">
  2. a.gearlink {color: #800080;}
  3. </style>
  4. <a href="link.html" class="gearlink">Shuriken of Negation</a><br />
  5. <a href="link.html" class="gearlink">Shuriken of Negation</a>
that will make only <a> tags with the class="gearlink" purple

and as to your double spacing problem, its the <p> tags you are using
those automatically space text like that, just use a <br /> tag for single line separation

Try this to get your links the color you want. Also, change the margin or padding of the pictures (can't remember which one right now).
