Disable html to display in a scroll box?

Hey people, Im sorry if this has been asked a million times but i'm new and quite honestly can't be bothered to back track fourty something pages.

I want a scroll box to display html code in without replacing & and >< for special characters as i've already been advised. I just want the code for this picture as it is to go into the box and display as is.

Thanks guys!

Alison
