Exporting ImageReady slices as CSS rather than tables

slightlybefuddled
(Exporting ImageReady slices as CSS rather than tables) apparently means it'll work just fine in Firefox, but do wacky stuff in IE?

Can anyone help me figure out why on earth the slices are not showing up in their proper places in IE(7)?

The button bar I created is perfectly set up in Firefox, but when I preview in IE, not so much. The slices have weird spaces in between.

Why.....?

Any help greatly appreciated. Thx.

Impossible to tell without seeing your code or, preferably, a link.

This is happening to me as well. For some reason when the slicing is not even and a bunch of spacers are used, the print preview and printing is way off in IE6 and IE7. Looks good in Firefox.

See link below.

I took the same image, sliced them evenly and the result looks perfect in all browsers. Unfortunely, I need to slice them uneven due to the design.

Nevermind! I found a workaround.

I split the image into two tables and now it looks fine.
