fckeditor inserting double<br> with browser

22
I am using fckeditor 2.3.The problem is that i use shift-enter between paragraphs. But when i see it in the browser I can see double space instead of single space.
I noticed that the source of fckeditor is creating a single <br>tag.

<font size="3" color="#000000"><span bold="&quot;&quot;&quot;&quot;&quot;&quot;" font-style="&quot;&quot;&quot;&quot;&quot;&quot;" italic="&quot;&quot;&quot;&quot;&quot;&quot;" color="&quot;&quot;&quot;&quot;&quot;&quot;"><font size="4" color="#000080"> Maintenance &amp; Reliability Professional Review Course<br />

But the browser source code becomes <br><br> then.

<font size="3" color="#000000"><span color="&quot;&quot;&quot;&quot;&quot;&quot;" italic="&quot;&quot;&quot;&quot;&quot;&quot;" font-style="&quot;&quot;&quot;&quot;&quot;&quot;" bold="&quot;&quot;&quot;&quot;&quot;&quot;"><font size="4" color="#000080"> Maintenance &amp; Reliability Professional Review Course<br /><br />

Anyone can provide a solution. How can i avoid the extra <br> from creating.

Thanks alot

Try using the paragraph tag to get your desired spacing. You shouldn't use break tags to set paragraphs apart from each other as that is not their purpose.

Have fun,
