Print Background Image

How do I print a background image? I read another article that says as long as print background becomes a default for IE settings, we need to "cheat" a little to print a site as close to what we see on the browser. So we created a "false" image of the background image, kept it from being displayed on site, but on the print sheet, calls for the "false image" Problem is i have a big gap between the "False" image and the next line. How do I solve this? Please help. I've been at this for days. I'm stumped.

Not sure but you have a lot of errors in your html and css. Plus you are mixing in xhtml end tags but don't declare xhtml. In fact, you are missing a doctype altogether.
