image padding

hi

i have a div that has 4 images in and text. what i'l like to do is have the images on one side of the div and the text on the other. so it will look like this:

---------------------------------------------------------------------
## ######## text goes here text goes here
## ######## text goes here text goes here
## ________ text goes here text goes here
## ######## text goes here text goes here
## ######## text goes here text goes here
## ________ text goes here text goes here
## ######## text goes here text goes here
## ######## text goes here text goes here
------------------------------------------------------------------

where the #'s are images and the text is text.

can you tell me is there a way of tricking the images to sit like that and have the text one the other side without using exact positions for the images

You could float the images left. Or, you could insert a second div inside the first that would hold the pictures. Then float the second div left and the text should all move right.
