Problems with Header Alignment - Please Help

P: 3
I must say, all of you are awesome in this forum. Your help earlier today has already been major. I have another grand dilemma. I am trying to get the wording above the search field aligned at the top and the word "Search" alligned directly with the search window. Under the search is a gray area shifted to the right … how do I fix it? and… how do I get it centered so that the entire thing is in the center of the display monitor? If you all can help me with that one I'll be absolutely floored. It's been a week now that I've been doing this and can't seem to figure what I'm doing wrong.

I would post the code but it exceeds the maximum characters allowed.

THANKS AGAIN

Many problems can be solved just by validating your code. Your doctype is incomplete, too. Fix that and correct your errors first and then see what we need to do about the problem.

I used the CSS validator on W3C.org and it told me there were no errors and that the CSS was valid. When you say the code is incomplete, can you tell me exactly how? I'm sorry for being such a pain but I've just been born into the world of CSS and it's a little overwhelming for me.
