CSS positioning has gone Kablewy - IE is driving me NUTS!!

3
Okay, so I realize that it's probably not IE's fault, it's probably mine. But I feel like my sites always work in FF, NN, Safari, etc. Whenever there's a problem it is always IE.

So, any and all help is hugely appreciated.

Here's the URL:

Obviously I'm having alignment issues.

Thank you all in advance for being smarter at this than I am.

No, you are probably correct in your assumption. All versions of IE are the worst browsers on the planet, including the new IE7. They are at least nine years behind web standards or incomplete or incorrect in their implementation. You notice this by what you said, that your code seems to always work in other browsers and not IE. Especially when your code validates as it does in this case.

Valid code does not mean correct usage but, again, if it works the way you expect it to in every browser except IE then you can correctly assume it is not you that is doing something wrong.

Double check the widths of the divs and images inside pink_wrap. If they add up to exactly the width of pink_wrap then it's probably IE has added a margin somewhere or induced a 'rounding error' in its calculations. Just make pink_wrap a few px wider and see if the funky elements drop into place.
