Setting "cell width" using lists + CSS

P: 35
Hello,

probably a simple problem but I can't find how to solve it so here we go...

Instead of using a table I'm using lists and CSS for my layout.
How do I set the "width" for my list item (which would be a table cell, had I used tables)? I get it to work fine with IE (the width:value works there) but not with Mozilla.

Thanks in advance.

Setting the width in FF works just fine so there is something else coming into play here. Please show the complete code or a link.
