differences between ie and firefox

I am designing a website, just learning at the moment so I know my codes a mess but once I have the site up I am going to re do the code to a more understandable fashion.

I have just checked my website in firefox and there is a table out of line even though it is in the correct position in ie. the table in ie is positioned using a css file but in firefox it seems to have no alignment at all.

ive sat for hours trying to figure out what i need to do any ideas anyone?

First, your doctype is incomplete and IE is in quirks mode. Please read the sticky at the top of the forum.

Second, many of your elements and attributes are deprecated so you shouldn't be using them. Not that they won't work but you need to learn current ones.

Third, validate your html and css. Read the sticky about validation. You have 53 html errors and a few css errors.

A good website has a proper title, so people know what it is about. "Untitled Document" doesn't do you avy favours.
