"static" background image on each printed page?

Is it possible to use the print css (in css2) to make sure that a
small image is printed on the top right corner (with background-
position) of each printed page of the same document?

Thanks.

Nope, you cannot force it. I normally choose not to print images, so
whatever you try, it is futile.

Any suggestion if I need to print some sort of header/footer for each
printed page? Or is that an absolute limitation of web applications?
I'd like to avoid Java or ActiveX if I can help it.
