html image size help

P: 1
Hi, In Fireworks I'm creating a sliced image box that I can put html into.
The final web page will be a long sales letter with a box around it.

As the sales letter gets longer and longer, I've been just adding to the size of the left and right side image. <img src="side.gif" height=500> and so forth.

The sales letter is long and the side.gif ends up being about 24,000 pixels long.
This works fine in Firefox browser, no problem. But in Explorer browser, after
9500 pixels, the image won't get any bigger.

Any ideas on how to solve this problem?

I don't know .css. I'm stricktly a .html web designer.

Thanks,

Ken
