Linux-based full screen browser for kiosks

http://kioskbrowser.sourceforge.net
http://atomicobject.com/pages/Software+Commons

KioskBrowser displays and navigates HTML pages and contains an
on-screen-keyboard for use in situations where the kiosk has a touch
screen but no physical keyboard. KioskBrowser uses the KDE and QT
libraries and runs in most modern Linux distributions.

We developed KioskBrowser for a client project a while back. We've not
delved into any further kiosk projects. How popular is Linux for kiosk
deployed projects these days?

A bit OT, but Konqueror is hopeless, and Kiosk uses the same engine.
Perhaps Konqueror is affected by being a file browser (which it does very
well) at the same time.

Doug, using KNode on Mandriva 2007.
