Pointers to "inspired" pages and nice compositions

I want to start thinking about my website and I am looking for some
"inspiration"
for the layout and the imaging.

Would you please point me to your favourite and most admirable
(according
to you) websites around the world, so that I can get a feeling of some
real good taste ?

Check some of the cutting edge 'Web 2.0' sites such as Digg, Flickr,
del.icio.us, etc.

or http://cssvault.com/
