Shadow PNG on Tables, I need Help

P: 1
I designed a blog template, but i can't get it to look right. I created a shadow, like a drop shadow, but on all sides of the table. I created it as a PNG for transparency. Here is the problem, when the page stays a fixed size, there is no problem, however i will be posting blogs when i travel and the length of the posts will increase the size of the table, i have a fixed size of the shadow and it looks dumb because there is a break in the shadow. you can view it here

Does anyone have any suggestions of how this could work to make it look good.

Another option i was thinking was to have the cell inside the table have scroll bars, but i have read that goes against a tables programing. If you know a what to keep the main table fixed and yet have the cells with a scroll bar (or something like that) that would also be a good option.

The other option would be to use a different style altogether. I just want the brown and the header to stand out from the background, to make it look elevated off the background some how. I just want the site to look good. Thanks.
