Site looks bad in Mozilla & Opera

P: 1

I designed this site which looks great (of course) in IE but looks bad in Mozilla and Opera.

Anyone have any suggestions to get it looking good in all 3 browsers?

You should code for the better browsers then worry about IE last.

The best thing would be to start from scratch and rebuild it again - checking in all the browsers from time to time.

Start from scratch is a good idea. I would start get the generic layout test in 3 browsers FF, IE 6/7, Opera. Then add your content it will save you a lot of headached.

Of course it looks great in IE?! That only goes to show how bad a browser IE is since it displays invalid code pretty well while modern browsers get tongue-tied, as they should.

Your doctype is incorrect, your tags are mixed-case, your html is invalid, as is your css. Validate and fix your many, many errors first, including a proper 'strict' doctype. Then come back.

As stated, above, never, ever design using old, buggy non-standard IE...and IE6 is not all that much better.
