need layout help

I'm having trouble placing some text where I want it to go in my
layout. The main web page has three images, and I have been able to
align them the way I want by making three divs and each having a float
left. I want the text to be centered under the center image, but I
can't get it to go to the right place. Can anyone help?

Here's a rough sketch of what I'm trying to do:

Put the caption _in_ the middle div, after the image. Make the image in
there display: block (or enclose it in a div) so the caption goes below
it (img is inline by default) and give the middle div text-align:
center.
