How to force table to appear in "next line"

Hi,

I have an 'a' element with 'display:block' and 'float: left' followed by a
table element within a div;

Now I want to force the table to appear in the "next line". That does work
without any action in IE and Opera, but not in FireFox.

How can I force the table to appear below the a element?

tia,

Set clear: left on the div containing the table.
