Check Boxes

P: 1
l am wondering what is the coding to make it so someone can only check 4 checkboxes, out of 6 checkboxes,

also l have a list so <option> and a text box and want the zip code in the text box ones you add it in the textbox look at the list <option> and check if it is a certain range, as to for a certain state. like between 300-600 for one places and another place 800-900, so Sydney is 300-600, and you place in quesnland which is 800-900 and it says wrong postcode.

for the check boxes you can put an on change on each check box that calls a function which if the value for the box says it has been selected,
1) goes over each check box counting the number of checked boxes.
2) If the number is 4, it alerts that limit is exceeded
3) unchecks that checkbox

For the zips you could use 2 options. If the cities option is changed the zips options is populated with only the allowable options for the zip code
