td issues with firefox (I believe)...

(as I keep searching here to find an answer)...

I am working on this popup window, and it's looking fine in Internet Explorer and Safari.

It doesn't in Firefox, and I'm not sure why...

Any ideas?

I'm running out the door for a few hours. IE is in quirks mode so it's working with a broken box model. If you must use the transitional doctype, use this one:
<!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.01 Transitional//EN"

but what are you transitioning from?

All new pages should always use the strict doctype:
<!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.01//EN"

I'll look at the rest when I get back but you shouldn't be using tables for layout.
Also, FF does not have any issues with td.

figured it out...

in the class ".sizelinks" there was

floating:left

which had effects in Firefox that it did not have in IE/Safari...
(that page is now available as a popup off kcet.org (webcast)) (removed test to which URL points)

thank you for taking a look and for the info on doctypes...
