Changing Colour of text dependent of date???

is it possible in HTML to write a code that will change the color of some text if a certain date is passed???? i have a fixture listing for a football team and i want the list to show the fixture passed in a different colour than ones still to play, is this possible???

Not with HTML, no. It might be possible with CSS but I may have been drinking when I read that. I'll try and check. Otherwise a programming language would be needed, such as javascript or a server side language, .
