Vertical Centering

Hi Everybody,

This is my first post so please be gentle with me.
I have a client that wants his website to be centered vertically as well as horizontally. I have seen conflicting methods of doing this but have been told to steer clear of this because of lack of all browser support. Is this true? If not could anyone please tell me a simple solution.

Thanks in advance.

The problem is that there's no real CSS / HTML strict solution to this (as far as I can remember). You could probably cheat and place the entire page div inside a table cell and center the contents of the cell. It's bad practice, but it should work how you want.

The vertical-align css property only works on table cells and other inline elements.
