loading image while keeping it hidden

this is a fairly simple problem, I've tried a few techniquesto accomplish the task myself but I've had no luck yet. Here is the issue, I got a working myspace profile tracker, it seems to operate soley on a hotlinked image they make you display on your profile. When someone views my profile and their browser loads the hotlinked image, it logs their ip and sends an email to me. I dont want the image to tell people Im tracking them, I know there must be a way to make it load without showing, remember, on myspace I can only edit the body of the page. please help!

Simple, you can do one of two thing...

Use javascript to preload the image in the head of the html file or just add a css style to the image...

<img src="blah.png" style="display: none" />

Is this what you're looking for?
