How to table sort in Arachnophilia

P: 1
Am using Arachnophilia's Table Wizard (which I love) to create tables for a website.

The tables need to have the column sort feature--not swapping information from one column to another--just sorting the information within a particular column.

I found the following seemingly simple instructions to accomplish this, but cannot make it work:

1. Put the following javascript library link into the HEAD of the html doc:
<script src="sorttable.js"></script>

2. Mark table as sortable and give it an ID:
<table class="sortable" id="id name">

Sure seems easy enough, but no matter what I do, when I preview the end result in the browser, the column sort option is not available.

Also found many other scripts that will supposedly implement the table sort, but have no idea how to use them!

Admittedly, I am rather "low-tech" and only know very basic html code. I just want the end result, but need the route to accomplish it--stated in very explicit terms! do I accomplish this using Arachnophilia's Table Wizard?

Thanks in advance if any one has the solution!
