Need transparent table cell

I have a table over a cool background on my web site, but I'd like to have
one of the table cells "transparent" so you can see the document background
through it. How do I achieve that?

You can do this by setting the table background same as your screen
background or the way i did is just dont write the background attribute
in table tag.It will show whatever background is set for the page.
