I have a div with 2 images. the first is a non repeating background image, and the second is a tranparent png that I wouls like to have set at the bottom of the div.

the div i am talking about is at the right of the page. (it's hard to miss.)
the goal is to set the tree image at the bottom of the div, and ultimately follow the bottom of the page if the height ever changes. (the div height is set to auto in all divs to allow room for more content)
so basically i have two questions
1- how do i get the image at the bottom of the div?
2- am i doing the right thing in order for the tree to fluidly move with the page as it grows?
solutions i have tried
i attempted aligning the image every way possible in the html document (i may be doing it incorrectly, that is a possibility).
