URGENT - save an image ...............

hi....
doubt regarding image saving...
i ahve a link for an image as saveimage..
when i click that saveimage link i want to open the mypictures folder where
the image has to get store...
can anybody help.....

afaik, saving image/file to a computer from a webpage is managed by the operating system itself. You cant do anything with it.

hello
i have designed an html page..
where in that i have image displayed there..and i have a save option link
for that image..
when the user click that save link means that image has to get stored
in the mypictures folder...
for that i need to open the mypictures folder when the save link is clicked..

how to write script for that
