Oliver Block <ne********@block-online.eu> scripsit:
is the text of a table caption to be aligned?
Assuming you mean the content of a <caption> element, it has an align
attribute, with four possible values by HTML specifications. Browsers
generally support only the values "top" (the common default) and "bottom",
whereas "left" and "right" are not supported or are treated against the
specification.
Browsers typically center the caption horizontally. You can use text-align
in CSS to suggest a specific alignment. Is there some problem with this?
Which?
I am just wondering, why it appears on the left in one of my tables
and centered on another one.
My crystal ball is dim, but the problem is probably on line 42.
Seriously, if you want specific help, post a specific URL. There might be
something in your CSS code that inadvertantly affects the alignment.
