changing border for tr

hello,

is it posible tu put a different border in a table row, and use the
normal border of the table in all other tables?
I'm only using IE, so cross-browser reference is not needed here.
here is my code that does'nt work:

<tr style="background-image:url(images/tableheader.gif);
border-style:none; border-width:0px">
<td>&nbsp;</td>

</tr>
.... more rows with the default border style...
