floating select

Hi:

I am using the <select> element form

http://www.hedgerwow.com/360/dhtml/u...width/demo.php

which has a dropdown with a varied width that allows users to see
longer values when clicked or moused over.

But I got a problem, the <select> in not inside the table cell, but
floating on top of it. Pic is at http://www.vizros.com/wrong.jpg.

Does anyone know why?

Thanks,

qq

You mean, you want the entire table to reformat itself every time the
cursor hovers over a selection list? That would be awfully disconcerting
for the user.

Please refer the picture, the <select> with the text "184A1" shoulde be
inside the table cell, just like the <select> with the text "2D". But
it is on top of the cell.

Thanks,
