Repeat report column heading on web report

I have a some online web report which are generated into html pages
from a SAP application. When the report is printed it prints over
multiple pages.

Currently, as there is no page break, the report is continuous and the
second, third, etc... pages do not have column headings. Can anyone
tell
me how can I make the column headings print at the top of each page?

Thanks
Dan

Have the report generator add the column headings to each page.
Since the generator has the capability to break the report into multiple
pages, it surely has a feature to label each page. Otherwise you will have
to post-process the generator's output to add the heading yourself, either
manually or with some custom program.

Yes, the report title does appear on each page, but I have no idea how
to tell it to put the column headings there as well.
I know I can invoke java script in my web style sheet. For report
header I see '&TITLE&' and I see my report name on each page.

Is there some simple Java code to recognize the heading and somehow
repeat them, or place them on each report header?

I will need an automated method, changing manually won't do. I have
hundreds of reports that will be re-run daily.
A custom program might do, but I need to find one.

Thanks again

Column headings seem to imply a table. Doesn't your browser
support HTML tables? The <thead> and <tfoot> elements are of
course what you're looking for.

By "column heading", do you mean <th> in a <table>?
If so, include them in <thead> </thead> and Mozilla will print them
on every page.

Probably the report is working fine. Often times problems like this
stem from Windows computers being configured to view HTML with Internet
Explorer, a program that is not suited to the task.

If you print the pages in a real web browser and still don't get column
headings on new pages, chances are the creator of the report forgot to
enclose the headings with THEAD.

Thanks Bruce

You are correct. When I look at the generated html produced by the
reporting application there are no tables or theads. The application
does provide a web template that can be customized through java script,
but trying this would be beyond my abilities.

Any suggestions?
