Hello,

I need specify the value of a text field in the subject field
while using the MAILTO protocol in a HTML page.,

Can any one help me in this regard, whether the same is possible or not

You're going to run into issues with this, specifically:
1. If the user does not have an email client because they use webmail
only, or they are at an Internet Cafe, library, or some one else's
computer, no email client will fire up and there will be no way to send
the message.

2. Not all email clients support subject in a mailto. Some just open the
client with only the email address, some choke and die.

You are better off using server side form processing.

"Stop wanting that."

There is no way to do it reliably. It's not part of the mailto
protocol, and different browsers do different things with various
proprietary extensions.
