Table within a <div>

Hi,

i've placed a table within a <div> to dispay some data.
All is well in FF, but in MSIE the table starts inline with the bottom of
the <div> to the left. I've set the css div to vertical align: top, but this
hasn't made a differance.

Yes, fine, I was there for part of my Xmas holidays. Lovely to
get into the warmth for a while.

If it was warm, then you were probably in the northern hemisphere, which
is currently experiencing Spring.

Due to the lack of "temperature smoothing factors", like the oceans on
Earth, Mars' Spring is much like its summer; so in late Spring,
temperatures can climb to almost 20°C.

Yes, just nice. I see you study travel destinations in detail,
planning a holiday yourself?

Where do your prefer to go on holiday yourself?
To Mars, to Venus, to Sweden or to Italy?

I was just looking at Italy as a possible holiday destination.
At a site that seemed to be Swedish based. It had the oddest ul
layout that I have ever seen for regions that Italy was divided
into.

https://www.scaiecat-spa-gigi.com/en/about-italy.php

It worried me. Could Italy be that self-centred, could it have a
region with no name or be totally non-existent in a weird
European existential way?

Froopy!

On a more boring note, "Espanol" should have a tilde over the "n", and
neither San Marino nor the Vatican City State are part of the Italian
Republic. So that's five marks off the languages score, and ten off
for geography. Must try harder!

Oh, and just noticed this: There is no such place as "Lipsia" in
English. So a further five marks off each of the scores for languages,
geography, and history.

I'll live. But your web page should still say "Leipzig".

I could quibble about your mistranslation of "Veneto", too...!

I'm going to Italy with my family in september. I'll guess I can find
the place and our hotel without the "help" from your site. :)

BTW, I clicked on the link in your sig (https://www.om-italien.eu/)

Guess what I found: http://hem.bredband.net/b450204/security.gif :)
If you are persistent to fiddle around with the https game of yours, at
least be sure you get the certificates right!

There are reasons for that which I do not want to explain in this NG now.

Good gravy. What a mess. I think "ul" there means "unlisted list". :)
