IE 3px gap?

I've been struggling with this silly gap on IE for a few days now and was
wondering if anyone could offer up a fix?

URL in question is: http://dev.belladolcemastini.com/template2.php

TIA

Can you change the absolute pixel positioning of the rotator and the
head text to float both left? That would eliminate pixels as a cause.

How come you have all the font sizes set with small amounts of pixels?
12px is rather small, and - the old bugabooo - IE users can't resize.
Use percentages...

It's IE 3 pixel "jog" bug. Googling give answers how to "hack" it work on
IE. But simpler would probably be to make that heading thing slightly
differently.

<div id="headerbacktile">
<div id="headerleftimage">
....flashstuff here just width set that 121px ...
</div>
</div>

headerleftimage would be current text header image with that small slice
from left combined

something like that should do

Thanks for the response. I've simplified that header area. Now, Firefox
doesn't want to expand those header divs all the way across the screen

Sorry, don't have that much time right now to look reasons why it does that,
most likely because of width of the search thing and there most likely is
some answer how to fix it :)

http://www.kolumbus.fi/ace/ng/header/

There's header test I did, it was probably faster to do test my way than see
through all your code (I'm not in sharpest shape, too little sleep..),
without your rotator thing though. Adding it might affect things, or not...
Try and see how it goes.

There is a pretty good write-up about the 3-pixel bug at PIE -

They offer a couple possible workarounds
