orient horizontal

Hi, I'm working with XHTML.
I have a div element with 2 div inside:
<div class="outerbox">
<div class="insidebox1">
...div content..
</div>
<div class="insidebox2">
...div content..
</div>
</div>

How can I set the orient of the "outerbox" to horizontal?
In other word I want display the internals div one in the left and the
other in the right of the "outerbox"; not one up and the other down.
I want this:
outerbox
insidebox1 insidebox2

and not this:
outerbox
insidebox1
insidebox2
There is someone that can help me please?

Set the widths of insidebox1 to 49% (to allow for border widths). Set
insidebox1 to float:left.
insidebox2 has (at least) two options:
- Set the width to 49% and float:left or float:right.
- Set margin-left: 50%. Or to 0 if you want the insidebox2 contents to
flow around insidebox1.
