Who knows a thing about multi column layouts with CSS?

Hi,

I am trying to create a multi column layout using a combination of
div's and CSS.

My layout requires four columns, two fixed width and two percentages.
It also needs to stretch the length of the screen. So, the left hand
column and the right hand column needs to be 250px, the two middle
columns will equally fill the space in between.

My attempt can be viewed following the link:

http://www.martynbissett.co.uk/_test.../test_cols.php

If you load it in Firefox and Opera it works brilliantly (try resizing
the browser window to so the columns in action ... whooooo) but in IE
it doesnt and is in quite a mess. If someone has more knowledge about
this that me please help me out. Would be much appreciated.

Cheers

Burnsy
