CSS bottom alignment?

Hi,

I wonder if you could help me with a layout problem. I'm designing a
layout which I would like to keep flexible but I would like an element
flushed to the bottom of it's parent element whatever it's height is. I
can think of the IE expression hack to do it but can't find anything in
plain old CSS. Does anyone have any thoughts?

| dependant on browser width |

Cheers,
Matt

The only way I ever managed that, was using an inner div, positioned
to the bottom of the outer div. The outer div won't stretch in height
though, so I'm inclined to think it isn't possible. (other than by
using tables...)
