How to run Unix commands from HTML

Hello All,
I want to run Unix commands from HTML. I want to run Perl command.
In windows I have placed the commands in .bat file and I am invoking through <href= >. I want to run unix commands from HTML.
Can anyone help me in this regard.

Unix is not going to let you execute a script from the browser through html. In fact, neither will the browser. This is a security issue.
