Error al abrir excel file en html

Hola..estoy intentado abrir un fichero de excel en html, y desde mi
equipo funciona bien...pero cuando subo el programa a servidor me abre
una pantalla con codigo ascii.

El codigo que tengo es:

<a href="../Report/reports/bySBU/SBU_2006-01-23_03-43-00.xls"
type="application/msexcel">Myarchivo.xls</a> 
Un archivo Excel

Alguien me podria ayudar?

Yo no ablo EspaÃ±ol mucho bien, mas acho que precisa servir (en el
server) el fichero de excel con el certo typo 'application/msexcel'.
No tieno certeza, mas penso que la forma <a href="..." type="..."> no
esta cierto.

Se usted escreve en Ingles, con certeza alguien vai saber la resposta
cierta.
