checkbox and text input

Hi i have the following stylesheet-definiton inside my form:

..form1 input{
line-height:20px;
margin-left:0px;
width: 150px;
text-align: left;
float:left;
}

this ist nicely working for the input/type:text
when i have a input/type:checkbox the checkbox ist plaxe in the middle
of the 150px.
[mytext ]
[x]

Can i align the box to the left?

[mytext ]

You are creating considerable problem by using px units in dimensioning. This
is far more important than any esthetic problem that you might think you
have.

That's one way of interpreting what you are _asking_ for in your CSS code.
The text-align property is poorly defined for input fields, so browsers may
well apply different interpretations.

Use a class attribute and a class selector to limit the effect to those input
elements to which you wish to apply them. Better still, omit text-align:
left.
