simplifying mailto

In form entry code, the "POST action=mailto:xx*@xxx.xxx" command requests a
Subject and a CC heading from the reader -- in lynx that is, I haven't
checked other browsers. Even with the -s & -c fields included, the reader
is questioned.

The object is to hide these two fields from the reader to avoid confusion or
destination error. Can anyone suggest how?

Forms that use action="mailto:..." are unreliable on the WWW.
