Select on my Div - HTML / CSS

I have this scenario where a div appears on my page. I place it
according to where the user is using dhtml but sometimes the div
element is
obscured by the select element.

This page demonstrates the problem:

However it does not offer any solutions.

Any thoughts?

Select boxes showing through DIVs, even those with a higher Z-index, is a
well-documented problem, especially with IE. Try googling "select div" (no
quotes) and you'll get a pile of sites with a solution. Also try "select
shows through div" (also no quotes).
