I hope this is the appropriate place to post this. I have the "simple"
task of creating a form. Field #1 asks for an email address. I want
the user to be able to enter "us**@domain.com" then before it's
submitted, strip the "@domain.com" off. I want this to be transparent
to the user. Here's my form:
<FORM NAME="LOGIN" AUTOCOMPLETE="OFF" METHOD="POST"
ACTION="https://somewebsite">
Email Address: <INPUT TYPE="TEXT" id ="USERID" NAME ="USERID" VALUE="">
Password: <INPUT TYPE="PASSWORD" id ="PASSWORD" NAME ="PASSWORD"
VALUE="">
<INPUT TYPE="SUBMIT" id ="SUBMIT" NAME ="SUBMIT" alt = "Click to Login"
</FORM>
<INPUT TYPE="HIDDEN" id ="ACTION" NAME ="ACTION" VALUE="LOGIN">
Any help would be greatly, greatly appreciated.
