A line problem

M
Hello

There are two divs on my page:
one with float: left
and the other with left margin equal to first div's width.

I'd like to put a line between these two.
But if I set border-right property in the left div and the second is
taller, line is too short. The same if I set border-left in the other div.
Is there any way of doing this, aside from putting a background with a
line?

Thanks,
M.

Set border-right on the left div /and/ border-left on the right div,
and use a negative right-margin of one pixel (if the line is 1px) on
the left div, so they overlap? (not tested)

I've just checked in Firefox, it doesn't work :(
