A CMS for Adobe FrameMaker Users

Just thought I'd share this last minute announcement I stumbled across
from SiberLogic. Free tickets to the FrameMaker 2005 Chautauqua - a
conference for tech writers who use Adobe Framemaker!

In addition, SiberLogic has created a special area on their website
that details how their product, SiberSafe supports Adobe Framemaker
users. Check it out!

SiberLogic Offers Free Tickets To FrameMaker 2005 Chautauqua

If lack of funding means your colleague is going to the Adobe®
FrameMaker® 2005 Chautauqua, but you can't, then SiberLogic might be
able to help you out. The company, a platinum sponsor of the
much-anticipated Framemaker event, is giving away free tickets to the
conference ($695 value) in a drawing to be held later this week. Of
course, you'll have to pay for travel, meals, and hotel. But, hey ...
someone's got to win! Why not you? Winners will be announced shortly
after the drawing, which occurs this Thursday, October 27 (4pm EDT).

Register for the drawing: www.siberlogic.com/framemaker/

While you're there, check out SiberLogic's free monthly newsletter.
This month's issue focuses on Framemaker integration issues and
contains a great article by Rob Hanna that outlines what you can do
with SiberLogic's XML content management solution - SiberSafe --
and FrameMaker that you can't do with FrameMaker alone.

For those unfamiliar with SiberSafe, the product extends FrameMaker's
authoring capabilities, provides XML content management and
collaboration functionality, and support for technical documentation
standards like DITA and S1000D. I was particularly impressed with
SiberSafe's FrameMaker integration as well as their Training-Enabled
Knowledge Base Publisher and Player. A useful tool for FrameMaker users
challenged with creating both documentation and training materials from
a single source.
