Lynx and lots of line feeds..

I've been trying to make a web site as WAI as possible and thought I'd
take a look at it in Lynx and found out that the content was pushed of
the top of the page and you have to scroll up a lot to find it.
Can anyone tell me whats causing this and how to fix it?

TIA

Always a good idea -- but you have a lot of things that need changing.
Presumably you're still at an early stage?

If the idea was to see how it looks to an Assistive Technology UA, then
you're much better off looking at it in Opera with a user stylesheet.

Not sure what you mean by this; can you explain a little further? (You
have a lot of navigation changes to make anyway.)

In the version of lynx I have the pages open with a blank screen and a
scrollbutton and about 300 blank lines have to be scrolled down to get
to the content - I have found that this appears to be a feature of the
copy of lynx I have!
I'll try and get a new one.

I've used the FireFox devoloper extensions to allow user stylesheets.
